Lahaul - Spiti Trip 2007(Kunzum Pass )
Me , SKD n Candy set out in our bikes on 27th July 2007 for the Kinnaur Lahaul Spiti trip in Himachal Paradesh. This trip was going to be my first big trip in bike in hilly terain. So, with great enthusiasm we started forth at 7.00 am from Haridwar. Bikes Candy - Thundebird SKD - Unicorn PP - Unicorn The itenerary we decided from the Nest n Wings travel guide was this - Haridwar- Mussoorie- Kempty falls-Chakrata- Tiuni Tiuni - Rohru- Nogli-Rampur-Sarhan- Wangtu-Karchham Karchham-Sangla-Rakcham-Chitkul-Sangla-Recongpeo-Kalpa- Recongpeo. Recongpeo-Puh-Spello-Yangthang-Sumdo-Hurling-Tabo. Tabo-Dankar Gompa-Kaza-Kee Monastery-Kibber-Kee Monastery- Kaza. Kaza- Loshar-Kunzum la- Batatl- Chandertal-Batal-Chatru-Gramphoo-Manali Manali-Aut-Bilaspur-Chandigarh- Ambala- Saharanpur-Roorkee-Haridwar As we rached Dehradun Ity started raining heavily.But rain could not stop us from proceeding towards our destination.
