Recipe for Mango Tango Pickle- Companion for a Winter Afternoon in leisure

While we all cherish the memories of our travels to places  and the food we eat there, sometimes we also like to stay home and relax in the winter afternoon sun and bask in the sunshine. A plate of tangy mango pickle is a surely good way to spice up the time spent in leisure. When the mango season arrives, our mango tree provides plentiful of raw mangos. Unable to control the incessant supply, we regularly try to preserve the flavor by making pickles. One of our favorite is Mango tango pickle made by our Maa.  I tried to jot down the way the pickle is prepared in a simple way.. Hope you like it..  Ingredients : Take mangoes unripe..  10 pieces approx... Trip to Naukuchyatal, Nainital , Almora and Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary from Haridwar ( November 2020 )

 Trip Itinerary of Haridwar – Nainital- Binsar trip  ( November  2020 ) Day 1:    We started from Haridwar early morning in a Cab. The weather was fine and sunny.   We took the Rudrapur road as our taxi had to take CNG on its way to Naukuchiyatal. As we reached Kathgodam to found that the road via Bhimtal is closed for repair works. So, we took the longer route via Nainital to reach Naukuchiyatal by early evening.   At the KMVN Tourist rest house , we booked   a Semi Deluxe room overlooking the beautiful lake and garden. There was ample space for parking the car and due to pandemic only a few rooms were occupied.   A winding road takes one all around the lake where several residential houses and Hotels are there. Even the Club Mahindra and many boutique hotels have open in Binsar which speaks of itself the prominence of the Naukuchiyatal for travel lovers.
